Holy Days Open with God's Love

Holy Ones,

'Tis the Season! The holidays are upon us. So how are you doing with your holiday preparations? In the flurry of festivities, it's easy to lose sight of what the season is all about. Take a minute and reflect with me on the You that is "doing the doing."

You are a precious present. Every day when you awaken, unwrap that present and see it with new eyes. Delight in what you find. There are always happy surprises to discover about yourself. And as you give presents to others, keep in mind that the wonder you are is expressed in every gift you give, making it twice blessed.

You are the light onto the world. As you light candles in your home to celebrate the season, realize they symbolize the light of God in you. Your spiritual vision is what the world needs to fulfill God's promise of peace and goodwill on earth.

Vision leads and lights the way for a promise to become a reality. Let the light of your awareness shine as a star does in the night, holding fast to a vision of all the world as one.

You are God's love in action. Wherever you are, whatever the situation, know that you are in the midst of love, because love is in the midst of you. As you share the love that you are, not only will you feel a warm glow of well being, but you will give warmth to others who may not know how to come in out of the cold.

Throughout the season, remember you are a precious present, a shining light, and a miracle of love. As you know the wonder you are, you will enjoy being You whatever you are doing.
